  American Red Cross (ARC)

Volunteers are needed to give educational classes and programs in health services, CPR, First Aid, and swimming.  Other volunteer positions include work in the Hospital and Clinics, Dental Clinic, Veterinary Clinic, school health programs, and caseworkers.

  Navy/Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS)

NMCRS is an emergency financial assistance organization to help active duty and retired Navy and Marine Corps personnel and their families. Volunteers are always needed to function as casework interviewers, computer operators, office staff, public speakers and knitters/crocheters. NMCRS provides training and pays child care for volunteer staff.

  Relay For life (RFL)

Relay For Life is the signature Event of the American Cancer Society and is a team event that promotes survivorship and increases cancer awareness in our community! Families, schools, companies, hospitals and other community groups create teams of 8 to 15 people who take turns walking around a track all night to raise money to find a cure!   FFSC Volunteer Coordinator

The FFSC Volunteer Coordinator can provide information and referral for general volunteering opportunities, and for specific volunteering opportunities other than those acquired through American Red Cross or Navy/Marine Corps Relief Society.

  FFSC Ombudsman Program

Command Family Ombudsmen are key resource for Navy family members, particularly when they can facilitate information between the command and individual command families. The Yokosuka Fleet & Family Support Center offers Ombudsman training (Basic, On-going and Advanced) and supports the Yokosuka Ombudsman Assembly. Ombudsman training sessions are held throughout the year and Ombudsman Assembly Meetings are held monthly.
